In 2016, I contributed stories and photos to two publications produced to accompany Australia’s exhibition at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale: The Pool: Architecture, Culture and Identity in Australia and From the Edge, a broadsheet available at the exhibition in Venice. My stories and photos were also featured in a digital newspaper when The Pool was re-exhibited at the National Gallery of Victoria in 2017-2018. 

Led by creative directors, Amelia Holliday, Isabelle Tolland, Michelle Tabet and Olivia Hyde, The Pool invited viewers to explore the pools of Australia in all their forms: natural or man-made; inland or coastal; and temporary or permanent. It also asked the questions: ‘Is the pool a consummate symbol of Australian identity?
