I am a Sydney-based swimmer, writer and photographer with a passion for telling stories and capturing images of Australia’s pools.

Pools have been a constant in my life since I learnt to swim in the tidal waters of Northbridge Baths on Sydney’s lower north shore. I love being immersed in them, swimming laps up and down, admiring their colour scheme, design, and style, learning about their history and meeting the people connected to each pool.

I started this blog in 2009 as a way of sharing stories and photos of my visits to Sydney’s aquatic gems – chlorine complexes, harbour baths and ocean pools – as well as watery places in other parts of Australia and overseas.
