It was lovely swimming at Petersham’s Fanny Durack Aquatic Centre this morning with the jacaranda tree in full bloom.
Pretty. I haven’t swum there yet this season, but have been going to Leichhardt once a week.
The jacaranda adds some colour to a swim Margo and there’s some lovely ones in flower in Petersham Park as well. The pool’s just the same – a bit daggy and grungy but very peaceful too – and you can usually get a lane to yourself – a lap swimmer’s bliss. See you there some time
