It does Seana and a cap is essential I believe for lap swimming! You would definitely need a cap swimming…
I always always wear a cap to keep my head warm, did that when in Scotland too which my sisters thought was ridiculous when we were splashing around in rivers but it makes such a difference in not getting cold.
